Mission

ICA:UK's mission is to enable people to bring about change in pursuit of a just and sustainable world for all. Informed by our values (shared responsibility, wholeness, a global perspective, constant learning, and making a difference) we sek to develop a culture of participation amongst the individuals, groups and organisations we target.

Programs

In Africa, we work with partner organisations to deliver effective services to Africans vulnerable to poverty, particularly due to HIV/AIDS. In the UK we work with young people, service providers and non-government agencies working internationally to improve their participation and partnership practice.

Beatrice Imali - Project Manager
Beatrice has been involved with community development work for many years, training, facilitating and supporting individuals, groups and communities to enable them to improve their lives. She has been based in Mariakani, near Mombasa for over ten years.

Hellen Kagwiria - Lead Trainer
Hellen supports and advocates for HIV+ people in Kenya. Hellen is based in Nairobi and works both as a volunteer and consultant
