The Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project (NAOP) is working to free orphans from the cycle of poverty by providing a high-quality, free education, both formal and informal, to children who have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS in order to counteract pervasive hunger, poverty, and systemic deprivation.

This project has rented a safe house for the Hands Together to Defend the Children Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti after their house was destroyed in the earthquake. We're also raising money for school, food, and medical fees for the kids.

Project supports the education of girls in Sierra Leone by providing scholarships, school & teaching supplies. This provides a proven path to empowerment of their families and the nation as a whole.
Chronic malnutrition is the single biggest contributor to the deaths of children under 5 in Guatemala. Half of Guatemalan children under 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. Casa Jackson Center for Malnourished Infants provides in-house and out-patient care to hundreds of infants and young children each year, as well as family nutrition education and community outreach efforts.
Our aim is to provide long-term, sustainable help by improving basic education and access to water in small communities, "los pueblos jovenes", around the city of Arequipa, Peru. GVI and our volunteers work in government-run schools leading or assisting in classes where there is just one teacher in multiple grades, providing much needed assistance and attention for the children.
Non Formal Education Centres provide children in remote tribal areas with access to quality education, in an interactive and joyful environment. Children are enabled to join mainstream schools.
