Our aim is to provide adult literacy courses to people living in The Gambia, West Africa. 770 illiterate adults in one district alone have come forward wanting literacy courses.Education is not free in The Gambia and families cannot afford to send children to school. Uneducated children grow up into uneducated & illiterate adults, unable to obtain employment. The circle of poverty continues from one generation to another but adult literacy courses can open up many opportunities.

There are many children in Kenya living in extreme vulnerability. Many have dropped out of school due to poverty, unwanted pregnancies and sexual and gender-based violence. Those who have dropped out of school - especially girls - are vulnerable to child prostitution, forced early marriages, child labor, child trafficking and HIV new infections. Donations for this cause will restore hope for them. We are currently supporting 20 Orphans with school fees payment in secondary schools.

This project will help the village school of Itagutwa in rural Iringa, Tanzania which assists 350 children from the surrounding area. The children own nothing in material goods - some have stubs of pencils that they keep tied around their necks and write what they can on scraps of paper. Depite this, they are desperate to learn.
We aim to build a new classroom for the school as well as provide essential materials such as desks and books, giving the children a brighter future.
