How to Redeem a Gift Card or Gift Certificate

GlobalGiving is the leading online marketplace for international giving, connecting you directly with grassroots charity projects around the world. We ensure that 90% of your donation (including any Gift Aid) reaches the organisation concerned within about 60 days and therefore has an immediate impact. (The other 10% is used to cover our own costs as a small UK charity). It's a new way to give.

How Do I Redeem a Gift Card or Gift Certificate?

1. Find a project that moves you.

Browse by topic or geography and choose one or more projects you want to support.

2. Ready...set...give!

Indicate the amount you wish to give (minimum £5) and click "Give Now." You'll be taken to your Giving Cart.

You can give more than the amount of your Gift Card, and pay for the balance using a credit/debit card or PayPal.

3. You're almost done...

Click on the link that says "Have a gift certificate?" to reveal the gift card box.

Enter your Gift Certificate code into the box that appears and hit the "update total" button after you enter the code.
Your Donation Total will adjust by the amount of the Gift Certificate. Click "Pay With a Gift Card(s)" and if the balance was £0, you're all done! If a balance remains, you'll be prompted for payment information.
If you redeemed part of your Gift Certificate, your Certificate will retain the remaining balance.
You'll receive a confirmation via email.
