Nominate Your Organisation

GlobalGiving is an online fundraising platform that works with registered non-profit organisations around the world to raise money and grow their network of donors. Unlike a traditional foundation, GlobalGiving does not provide grants for organisations. We offer organisations a unique set of tools, strategic support, and the opportunity to connect with our vast network of individuals and corporate partners. Learn more about GlobalGiving.co.uk.

How does the sign up process work? When can I start fundraising?

1. Nominate Your Organisation to join GlobalGiving UK by filling out the online nomination form.

2Submit your vetting documents so we can ensure your organisation is non-profit and has good management processes. Read more about the application and due diligence process.

3. Participate in the Gateway Challenge by posting your project on GlobalGiving.co.uk and actively fundraising. Once your application is approved, your organisation will participate in a Gateway Challenge: the fundraising challenge gives you an opportunity to motivate and encourage your new and existing networks to donate funds to your project. Successfully raising £2000 from 50 unique donors during the month long challenge will earn your organisation a permanent place on GlobalGiving.co.uk. Check out the last Gateway Challenge results.

Gateway Challenge Benefits: bonus funds and training

Gateway Challenge participants also compete for additional bonus funding: the three projects receiving the most funding by the end of the challenge will receive additional funding awards of £1500 for top fundraiser, £750 for second highest fundraiser, £500 for third highest fundraiser and the project receiving the highest number of unique donors will receive an additional £500 for their project.

Don't worry, before and throughout the Challenge we provide you and your fundraising team with training and support to help with your fundraising strategy and campaign. Training will be delivered remotely so organisations from anywhere in the world can take part and will start in late October.
