The GlobalGiving.co.uk Project Challenge is a wonderful opportunity for you to earn a spot on the GlobalGiving.co.uk website and received increased expsoure and funds your projects. To qualify you will need to raise at least £1,000 from 50 or more donors during the Challenge period (1st - 30th April 2010). The most successful projects in our Project Challenges have been those that have actively reached out to as many supporters as possible. GlobalGiving wants you to be successful using our platform to attract donations and supporters to your project. This page provides resources to help get the word out and get new ideas on fundraising strategies for both UK-based organisations and non-profit organisations working internationally.

GlobalGiving connects individual and institutional donors directly to social, environmental, and economic development projects around the world. Over £17 million has now been raised for 1,500 projects in over 90 countries, across GlobalGiving’s US and UK websites. GlobalGiving.co.uk launched in the UK in September 2008, and the website has averaged 300,000 annual unique visitors. GlobalGiving UK corporate partners and supporters include the likes of Google, Expedia, eBay, Merrill Lynch and the Guardian (list of partners).

To save and use the GG logo, use your mouse to right-click on the image you want.  Choose "save image..." and give it a name (e.g. "globalgiving_logo.jpg") and save it to your computer.  You can then insert the .jpg file into your email communications, website, etc.

To use the "Give Now" button, save the image below as described above, and insert it where you want it to be positioned.  Then, in the program you are using, choose "insert" and "hyperlink" - so you can link this button to your project on GlobalGiving (http://www.globalgiving.co.uk/[YOUR PROJECT NUMBER].
