A scholarship to secondary school costs just 35 for the year yet for most families this is an unachievable goal. The children we work with are from some of the poorest, most rural, communities in Ecuador and finding enough money to feed the family is as much as they can afford. Yet education is the key to development, to bringing a family out of poverty.
