This pilot project focuses on two major components: the development of the human resource capacity within the prison service & juvenile correction centre and restoring the dignity of prisoners by providing humane conditions and improving welfare in Buea Central Prison. Aimed at reducing reoffending and restoring agency to detainees, the project covers basic education, problem solving, hygiene, health, literacy, and management skills, and income-generating activities.
