Why this Project is Important

Potential Long Term Impact

This project provides literacy modules for 3600 women to obtain the necessary skills to build their businesses and support their families. In addition, it helps create the economic foundation for a strong democratic society in Haiti.

Project Message

We believe you can't just give a woman a loan and send her own her way. You must accompany her as she struggles out of poverty. Fonkoze is a lasting institution for the poor that does this.
- Fr. Joseph Philippe, Founder
