More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe key to the Alliance’s ability to work with the most rural villages is the ability to communicate and work with villagers as partners in bringing about sustainable projects in the areas of health, education and economic development. All wells and school construction projects require supplies, and many health, education and economic development trainings require a larger vehicle. An 8-year old Land Cruiser has been used daily on rough terrain. The Alliance needs a replacement vehicle. ActivitiesTransportation to rural villages will provide ongoing business training to rural village committees, delivery of cement and other construction supplies, delivery of vaccinations and mosquito netting, health agent and midwife trainings and more.
