More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn 2020 there will be over 210 million unemployed people in India, 50% will be below the age of 30 and currently half of them are dropping out of school. And, even if they are staying in school, they are not learning skills to be able to create their own opportunities. Entrepreneurship is imperative to fill this gap. Targeting children from families living on less than 2 USD/day, i.e. 41% of India, BE! gives girls and boys the entrepreneurial skills they need to fulfill their potential. Activities50 Be! books - each teaching an entreprenurial skill & makes 'going to school' relevant to employment - encouraging India's poorest children to stay in school to learn entrepreneurial skills that will help them get a job, or 'create a job' by choosing to become entrepreneurs. 10 Be! epic movies & 15 Be! radio shows on national and regional channels and inspire young people to start a business that solves a problem where they live.
