Potential Long Term Impact

By helping 300 poor students (50% boys; 50% girls) finish high school and own a bicycle after graduation, the project will provide access to basic education to all the poor students in the selected area and village.

Make a difference

One imaginative way to make a difference in this project, is to help boys and girls go to school by providing them with bicycles.

Since project activities started, 200 bicycles made locally have been bought (@75 USD each = 3,375 Indian Rupees) and formally and publicly delivered to school beneficiaries. This represents a total of net donations received of 15,000 USD out of which 9,200 USD (61%) came directly from generous donors to Global Giving. This is a major achievement.

Boys and girls will become full owner of their bike when they graduate. This is a great incentive to improve grades at school!

Thank you so much for your continuing interest in this to fund 100 more bicyles and perhaps more as other schools are lining up to help their poor students. It is a great encouragement for us to spread the spirit of love and support.
