Mission
Hand in Hand is committed to the eradication of child labour by mainstreaming deprived children into regular schools. We also work for the empowerment of women by promoting Self Help Groups, microfinance, and micro-enterprises. As well, we focus on strengthening grassroots democracy by setting up Citizens’ Centres. Finally, we promote health and hygiene among rural populations, as well as work to protect the local environment via watershed projects and solid waste management interventions.

Ilaji Shanmugam Senbagaraman - Project Manager
-Mechanical engineer with a post graduate degree in Business Administration.
-22 years of experience working in an international organization with main focus areas being MIS, budgeting, planning, and management control.
Krishnamoorthy Thiagarajan - Project Manager
-Six years of experience in HR from India and the Middle East.
-Three years of experience in business.
-Consultant for Rural Rejuvenation Program.
-Previously Project Director at Exnora International in solid waste management. Implemented SWM projects in several municipalities and villages in association with companies and government agencies.
