Training Education for 400 Nepali Women & Children
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesWe are addressing issues such as gender, economy, hunger, poverty, illiteracy & health. EWN focuses on remote mountainous districts Mugu, Humla, Jumla, and others. It covers 33 districts so far. In Pokhara center, women come from all over Nepal. We provide training and employment for women and education for children. Education, awareness, & economic benefit are the main tools to reach the needy. We visit the field to identify the real problems to address with local peoples in their community ActivitiesThe trainings in Pokhara and West Nepal promote women in the tourism industry to generate income, and assist disadvantaged women with financial and social independence. Provide education to children for a bright future. Funding InformationThis project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.
