Saving Wildlife Through Environmental Education
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesMany schools in the Dsitrito Federal are located in poor peripheries where there is still native vegetation and wild animals. People that live there, many of them children and teenagers, have the habit of capturing wild animals to sell them in markets. This is why we have to promote an educational work with this students, to make them understand that taking animals from nature causes not only serious damage to the environment but can also bring them and their families dangerous diseases. ActivitiesThe project includes production and distribution of educational material, and speeches by Renctas’ volunteers to help teachers promote pedagogical activities with their students.
