More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesSouthern Sudan has been ravaged by over 40 years of civil war, with 4.5 million dead and 9 million refugees, making it one of the worst humanitarian disasters in history. Southern Sudan has the lowest school access rates in the world, and 90% illiteracy among women and girls. ActivitiesThe high school will accommodate 500 girls and will provide health care, feeding programs, housing, and vocational training in community health.
