Mission
Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in over 40 countries across the globe, the Global Vision International (GVI) Charitable Trust manages and fundraises for numerous long-term programs. These further the works of GVI and their partners and aim to alleviate poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change through: education; nutrition; conservation and capacity building.

Personnel Overview
Andy Woods-Ballard - Director of Operations
Andy is an international environmental and development project director with experience in the leadership and training of staff across Africa and Latin America, working with governmental, non-governmental and voluntary organizations, Universities and international conservation organizations. Andy now runs the GVI-CT in the UK and aids with fundraising and management for projects internationally.
Ropa Mohamed - Mkwiro Village Vice Chairman
Ropa was born in Mkwiro village and lives there with his family. He is a tradesman and the principal builder with in the community and has been elected Vice Chairman of the village committee, representing one of the principal local leaders within the community. An active member of the community he has attended training workshops on sustainable income generating projects.
Rachel Crouthers - GVI Expedition Manager, Kenya
Rachel is a marine biologist who has worked with GVI for four years both in Mexico and Kenya. As expedition manager in Kenya she works closely with the Mkwiro community to support education, awareness and development projects, promoting community conservation through sustainable resource use. Her knowledge of swahili and close interaction with community members makes her a vital link for GVI.
