More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesUnemployment and underemployment have forced women of the Limon, Costa Rica to generate income for the family. The project supports microenterprise through small, collateral-free loans allowing women to capitalize on their skills. This creates the potential to generate greater profits to cover familial expenses and invest in their children’s education. Our goal is to give these women the opportunity to empower themselves by creating their own prosperity facilitated by the access to capital. ActivitiesThe project provides women with the opportunity to invest in their micro-enterprises, which generate essential income for families to afford the basic necessities as well as provide a better future for their children through education. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: £259 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled £259. The original project funding goal was £15,271.
