More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Unemployment and underemployment have forced women of the Limon, Costa Rica to generate income for the family. The project supports microenterprise through small, collateral-free loans allowing women to capitalize on their skills. This creates the potential to generate greater profits to cover familial expenses and invest in their children’s education. Our goal is to give these women the opportunity to empower themselves by creating their own prosperity facilitated by the access to capital.

Activities

The project provides women with the opportunity to invest in their micro-enterprises, which generate essential income for families to afford the basic necessities as well as provide a better future for their children through education.
