Friends of Morocco

Mission

Development and support projects in the Lagfaf rural region (Morocco). Encourage children to do sport, be fit and stay healthy. Develop social contacts, recreation, knowledge and cultural values.

Programs

Gave children possibilities to practice sports. Built shower room and toilets and fixed the playground at the sport camp. Building toilets at schools. Arrange transport to make travel possible.

Olympian (88), 2nd in London Marathon may 1987(2:10:09), Best time in the world for half Marathon 1989, 3rd time in the world for the Marathon in 1987 and many other running performances, Founder of the Association Club Athletics Lagfaf. Recently Coach for the best female runner in the world (4 times winner Boston Marathon, winner Marathon Chicago, world champion Marathon 2005).
