Prevent Youth Involvement in Drug Trafficking
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesLike most low income communities in Rio de Janeiro, Julio Otoni is heavily exposed to criminal gangs, drugs and guns. Due in part to the lack of alternatives in the community,it is not at all unusual for children as young as 12 to become involved with gang culture. The project engages these young people in activities such as Computing, English, Capoeira, Dance and Arts. The project is always in need to have funding to sponsor a child. Please sponsor a child monthly.
