HELPS INTERNATIONAL
MissionHelps International's mission is to provide enduring programs of practical, social, and spiritual value to the people in the developing world through a system of partnership and mutual responsibility. ProgramsHELPS manufactures ONIL stoves in a Guatemalan factory and installs them in hard-to-reach rural communities. HELPS has set up a training system whereby five women from the community are trained in stove assembly, use, and maintenance. A stove technician assists these women to assemble the stoves in their own homes, and then they pass on their skills to their neighbors. Each community will have three follow-up visits from a stove technician to ensure that the stoves are working well. Funded Projects on GlobalGiving
