Basic medical lab for rural health clinic in Thulo
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe clinic will provide basic medical services to the residents of Thulo Syabru and surrounding villages in this remote region of Rasuwa district in Nepal. These communities suffer from health problems associated with crippling poverty, such as diarrhea, worm infestation, malnutrition, acute respiratory infections, and tuberculosis. A basic medical lab will have a significant positive impact on our ability to more accurately diagnose and treat these common ailments. Activities* Renovate the facility (ceiling, walls, floor, and lighting) * Acquire furniture, equipment, and supplies * Install the new equipment * Support annual costs for one year Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: £21 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available.
