Football helping 100 people in Russia
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThere are 5 million homeless in Russia due to the political system. We work in Saint-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Angarsk, Tiumen’, Arkhangelsk where we offer football training, psychological support, assistance to find a job, training, and education to enable people to change their lives. The national football tournament gains media attention to raise awareness and discuss this issue publically, which is currently taboo. ActivitiesWe offer football training and coaching to people who are excluded and a national tournament gives the opportunity to win, to represent Russia at the Homeless World Cup. 2/3 of people change their lives coming of drugs, alcohol, finding jobs.
