In partnership with locally based community organisations to demonstrate sustainable solutions to the barriers preventing rural and semi-rural Tanzanian communities accessing free anti-retroviral drugs and testing to help tackle HIV/AIDS, and as a result to change the way mainstream services are delivered within five years ProgramsConnecting Communities to Healthcare Since December 2007 Trans Tanz has been operating one pioneering and successful project with its community partner - Uhakika Kituo cha Ushauri Nasaha (UKUN) – in the Bagamoyo district of Pwani region. Our goal is to run a total of two or three such projects and to use these as a basis for changing the way that mainstream services are provided. Current Projects on GlobalGiving
