Help 100 Additional Families Grow Food in Zimbabwe
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesMany of the resettled farmers in Mutasa District of Zimbabwe face depleted soils and inputs that are scarce and very expensive. With a drip irrigation kit, along with conservation agriculture skills training, these families will better utilize locally available resources and have a dependable source of food. We have already been funded to help 150 families so we have expanded our goal to reach an additional 100 families with a new budget of $24,950. ActivitiesASAP provides the drip irrigation kits that improve the production of gardening by producing three crop cycles. In addition, field officers provide seeds, fertilizer and training to be sure the family is fully prepared for gardening success.
