Soul of Africa
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThis project aims to address the problems that AIDS has brought to the rural areas of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. In this province of South Africa there are high rates of unemployment and Soul of Africa seeks to address this issue by tackling problems at a grass-roots level. We offer employment to previously unemployed women by teaching them how to hand-stich shoes. The women work in a safe environment and are paid a fair wage, enabling them to earn money and provide for their families.
