Personnel Overview

Tanya Seeley - Founding Trustee
Currently working in finance I took time out in 1995 to travel & was captivated with SE Asia. The people made a huge impression, especially the women who had not had the same opportunities or choices I had had growing up. With a high quality education & a good job, I vowed one day I would return & give something back. In 2007 I volunteered in Cambodia for 6 months after which I set up HOPE.

Jo Owen - Founding Trustee
During a well planned year out from the hotel industry in the UK, Jo travelled throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South America. Three years later she still hasn't returned home, mired in the many responsible tourism issues in which developing countries are faced. Her volunteer work challenged her to do something positive and joined Tanya to set up HOPE
