More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesTo break the cycle of poverty the "Housing Project IZZI" starts its activity with the construction of 2 decent massive selfmade familyhouses. 2 families in need have been selected by the commitee of the "Housing Project IZZI". They get a loan from the "Housing Project IZZI" for the building materials which they have to repay in small monthly rates. The unskilled work has to be done and the skilled bricklayer as assistent has to be payed by the future homeowner family. Activities1. Identification of the building plot, 2. Production of cementstabilized compressed earthblocks (laterite), 3. Platform as foundation, 4. Walls are constructed by the future houseowner with the help of a skilled bricklayer, 5. Roof, windows, doors. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: £3,490 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available.
