More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThere are only 10 pre-schools in the Western Area of Sierra Leone. Only 20% of teachers in the pre-schools are qualified for pre-school education. Problems of pre-schools in the district include: (1) Lack of qualified teachers (2) inadequate physical facilities such as furniture, water, recreational materials and teaching and learning materials. This project will benefit 180 children ( 101 girls and 79 boys). ActivitiesThe project activities are as follows:- (1) Provision of recreational materials (2) Training of teachers for pre-school education (3) Training of Care Givers (4) Provision of beddings & toiletries Funding InformationThis project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.
