Restore Hope for Communities in Thailand
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesWhispering Seed runs a Children’s Home and a Community Education Centre for abandoned children and local communities. The children are all under 10 years old and have been abandoned and rescued from workhouses or from abuse. The local communities who the charity provides vocational training to are displaced people and other ethnic minorities (victims of the conflict on the Burmese border), some of whom have HIV/AIDS. ActivitiesThe bridge foundations are in place; what we urgently need is funding to complete it. We will construct an 80 metre bridge, made out of local timber and bamboo, and train a minimum of 12 local labourers to construct and maintain the bridge.
