Necessary Journeys
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn Kenya half of the population has no access to clean water, food, education, medical care and employment. This project will provide creative education through photography, to further children's capacity to express these issues that effect them and their community. The project addresses their rights to adequate resources and institutions that we in the west take for granted. By investing in their education we increase their opportunities to become future educators and leaders of their community ActivitiesThrough workshops in photography teenagers will produce a book illustrating journeys they make each day. We will distribute the books to educational institutions in the west, thus creating awareness on the fundamental right to sustainable resoures Funding InformationThis project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.
