Mission

Conservation through Poverty Alleviation, International, a US-based 501(c)3 organization, helps subsistence farmers displaced by the formation of national parks establish new livelihoods that restore and sustain protected habitats.

Programs

We are exploring other areas for expansion, particularly Andasibe, where restoration of a forest corridor will permit lemurs and other animals to resume their "commute", now interrupted by the damaged forest.

Dr. Craig is the founder and President of Conservation through Poverty Alleviation, International, a US-based 501(c)3 organization which helps subsistence farmers displaced by the formation of national parks establish new livelihoods that serve to reforest and sustain the protected habitats.

Mamy Ratsimbazafy - Field Manager
Mr. Rasimbazafy has led the CPALI project in northeastern Madgascar for the past two years. He is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the project, including liaison with the villagers, local authorities and with our partner, the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Robert Weber - Financial Officer
Dr. Weber is CTO of Sunrise Ridge Algae, a private, Texas company, engaged in research, development and commercialization of algae biomass technology. He has 20 years of experience assisting clients maximize the value of business opportunities enabled by existing and emerging technologies. Formerly Director at TIAX LLC and Principal at Arthur D.
