Providing education to 700 children in Aligarh
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThere are 5356 out of school children in Aligarh urban as per Government data in the year 2008-09. The actual number may be far more than this. These children either never went to school or left their education in between. The causes lie in abject poverty, no access to government schools and pressure to support family income. the project will cover those children who work in lock industry, rag-pickers, street and working children among all the out of school children mentioned above. ActivitiesProject activities include the regular teaching, health check ups, providing nutritious food , community mobilization and sensitization of parents and government officials.
