Vocational & Life Training for Madagascan Youths
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe young people supported through this project have typically missed out on school, been prematurely burdened with adult responsibilities and come from families suffering from absolute poverty and abuse. They have no marketable skills or secure income. 3600 young people from Ankazomanga (an urban slum) and Carion (a rural community) will take part in life skills development workshops. 500 of those young people who have applied will be selected for the Vocational Skills Training. Activities3,600 young people will development self-esteem, social skills, healthy behaviours & HIV knowledge. 500 of them will receive accredited vocational training in an in-demand trade and receive support to start work or to set up business (see attached).
