Mission

Slow Food is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. Slow Food envisions a world in which all people can eat food that is good for them, good for those who grow it and good for the planet.

Programs

In more than 150 countries, Slow Food’s local chapters and the Terra Madre network are developing pioneering food education projects in communities and organizing events – from international to local - to showcase sustainable agriculture and food production and connect producers with consumers.
