House of the Children
Mission
To empower global cultures by providing sustainable clean water, sanitation, health and education programs that raise the quality of life of children and adults in context to cultural and environmental needs.
Our goals are healthy, educated, culturally and environmentally aware children and adults that flourish within natural environment.
HOTC was founded on the belief that one person could make a difference in the lives of children, by supporting them from their place of inner strength.
Programs
HOTC provides technical training and workshops in the field of low- tech clean water and sanitation applications, and health supervision to the native community of Huacaria in the Manu Rain Forest through 2012.
This programming supports long team sustainability of the infrastructure installed in 2004-2006, monitors community health advances, and encourages committee outreach to surrounding villages to improve health conditions.

Nancy Santullo - Founder and Executive Director
Nancy first visited Peru in 1999. touched by the needs of the children, she put her photography career aside and founded House of the Children to improve the quality of life of children in Peru. Nancy was guided to the children of the Manu Rain Forest where she dedicates her life to transforming the impossible, - to the possible for indigenous people in the area of health, water and sanitation
