Mission
Global Health Partnerships (GHP) is an organization of medical professionals and other volunteers who work as partners with local organizations, Ministries of Health, and local health care providers to improve the health and well-being of the poor. GHP provides humanitarian aid, medication and supplies, and medical services and training of local health workers .
Programs
GHP helped establish a clinic to provide primary and preventive health care in rural eastern Kenya in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and with community support. We also funded and support a group of 150 volunteer community health workers who serve 75 villages to prevent malaria (mosquito nets), diarrhea (water treatment and hygiene), and malnutrition (nutrition education), and teach the use of oral rehydration for diarrhea treatment.
