Mission

We work with abused American women and children in foreign countries to provide domestic violence and child abuse advocacy, resources and tools so that they can navigate the complicated jurisdictional, legal & social international landscapes, to be able to live free of abuse either in the foreign country or back in the United States via an international toll free crisis line, 866-USWOMEN, accessible from 175 countries, serving a population estimated at 6 - 7 million American civilians overseas.

International toll free domestic violence crisis line, 866-USWOMEN. Available toll free from 175 countries, operating 24/5 6am Monday pst through Saturday 6am pst. Danger to safety relocation (airline flights back to the USA) Legal assistance to enable battered mothers to file for custody of their children and navigate the complicated legal system Self-sufficiency transitional housing program Emergency needs fund (diapers, food, temporary hotels stays, child care) Professional counseling

Personnel Overview

Paula Lucas - Founder & Executive Director
Paula suffered 12 years as an abused American woman in a foreign country. Her children endured severe child abuse until she was able to escape and flee back to the USA. Homeless, on welfare, and living in a domestic violence shelter, Paula founded the organization to help other families around the world, building the organization from the ground up. It is a one of a kind program.
