Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Tribal ( rat eaters) are landless laborers caught in worse form of poverty. Education can empower and bring change. Illiteracy restricts employability. Government’s affirmative action failed to reach this community at lowest level of the socio economic ladder. Empowered by education tribal can make a quantum jump in life, become role models and catalyst of change in the community what has not happened in centuries can be achieved. Mission is to bring about ‘Educate 120 under privileged’ India.

Activities

CHHASE Tribal School provides homely care, boarding, clothes, toiletries, books, healthcare, tour, skills training etc. CHHASE recruited well paid talented faculty. Empowerment through quality education and mainstream in formal school is the key

I worked in air force 15yrs. I associated with Catholic Mission 15yrs. Tribal child by tradition wander in forest, live on forest produce. I was convinced to provide tribal child education at 4 places

Re-building of Two under privileged school.

Greetings:

Great news- CHHASE is on the move in midlle 2010! We have just completed our under privileged school shed, which was damaged by heavy winds. All of a sudden, heavy winds blown and damaged our 2 school sheds.

With your generous donations, we were able to provide education, meals, uniforms and school kits to the under privileged tribal children. Now due to heavy monsoon winds, our 2 school sheds collapsed and we were able to re-build the sheds. We are unable to cover all the four sides. But we will make it soon. Further we will cover the side with metal sheets to protect the children from rain.

You are aware that tribal children never went to school before, but with your generosity, today they are learning happily with out hungriness. Your generosity gave them play material, which they have not seen in their life. Their stomach’s are full and healthy of your generosity. This has never happened before.

Thank you for your continued support of CHHASE! Our project truly impact the lives under privileged tribal children in India, provide them with the education. Your donation has facilitated the implementation of the education program, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue expanding with your support.
