Clean Water for Ruhanga SW Uganda
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe project benefits a cluster of villages making up 10,000 people who currently have no access to clean water. An awful lot has been achieved today specifically that this village had no help from the outside world. Today there is a place for volunteers to come and share their skills with the villagers, tourists can stop for refreshments etc and children below the age of 7 can access education. We have created a resource/craft centre from which women can work. ActivitiesThe project provides a means for villagers to become self sufficient through education, cultural experience with volunteers, income generation and tourism. Funding InformationThis project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.
