Give medical treatment to 61 Colombian war victims
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesEvery day Colombia registers an average of 2 landmine victims (the second highest rate in the world), including small innocent children and brave young servicemen who have been critically injured or have died. Colombia's government attempts to provide the available medical care to the wounded, but due to the overwhelming number of victims and the physical complexity of their injuries, there are limitations to provide the best medical treatment or cover all of the medical expenses. ActivitiesUnited for Colombia's purpose is to make a long-term impact in the lives of these Colombians by providing comprehensive medical care, in alliance with the best orthopedic and healthcare facilities in Colombia and in the United States, encompassing educational support and employment opportunities, as well.
