Build a hostel in Zimbabwe to keep girls in school
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn a context where 24 million girls can't afford to go to school, Camfed provides full scholarships for young women to stay in school- empowering them to be leaders of change in their communities. Included in this package, for girls who live a long way from the school, and whose safety and concentration in class are compromised by lengthy daily journeys, Camfed also provides safe housing. In order to support 30 girls through school, we're continuing the construction of a new hostel in Zimbabwe. ActivitiesThe Nyangani hostel will allow these young women to focus on their secondary education and their future. Your support will help supply the plumbing, plaster, flooring, electricity and labor for the final construction of this hostel. Funding InformationThis project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations. ResourcesWhy this Project is ImportantPotential Long Term ImpactYour support will not only transform the lives of these 30 girls, but by securing their education, you enable them in turn to become empowered leaders.
