Bring hope and education to 400 children in Chile
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesChile is seen as a rising star amongst its Latin American peers, boasting one of the strongest economies in the region. However, Chile has the second highest wealth disparity in the Western Hemisphere. Income disparity correlates with drastic inequality of social services for children, resulting in the poorest children being served by under funded and understaffed institutions. These children have been abused, neglected, or outright abandoned, and live in a world bereft of opportunity. ActivitiesVE Global’s educational programs seek to bridge the gap of inequality. We train our volunteers in social work, positive reinforcement and educational practices which support healthy day-to-day interactions that foster self-esteem and positive growth.
