Mission

Colegio Miguel Angel Asturias is a private, non-profit institution dedicated to providing innovative educational services based on the pedagogical principles of Paulo Freire to the Guatemalan society, with a preferential option for people of limited economic resources. The Colegio seeks to offer a transformative alternative to the public educational system and to foster a more just society.
