Establish 3 schools for 150 at risk out of school children in 3 remote slums in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Reduce child labor and out of school children by ensure primary education with nutrition meal and health care to build up a strong foundation to the lives of children to become responsible citizens in the society. Create linkages with local community, other like minded organizations and government to continue to serve permanently in the areas.
Children are out of schools for many years due to poverty of their families; many families migrate from rural villages in search of employment and settled in unsafe huts at the outskirts of Guntur city. Most of them are daily wage workers, not able to feed children adequately and encourage child labor to add income. Government is not able to develop the slums yet with their limited resources. This is negative affect to innocent children, who denied for their basic rights of care and education
To establish and strengthen an essential need of schools facility in 3 neglected slums to ensure primary education, nutrition meal and health care to 150 out of schools at risk children. Through motivation and awareness visits to the families reduce child labor, out of schools children and ill health. Create best linkages and collaborations with government, other like minded organization and community to further continue schools for ever to ensure education to all the children in the areas.
150 at risk out of school children will access education through established 3 schools. Child labor, out of schools children, malnutrition is reducing and health conditions will improve. Community support and participation is increase to control child labor. Families and communities are educated in good health practices. Get collaboration of government and other organizations to continue schools for ever in the slums permanently in the areas to ensure education to all the children.
I am a school dropout at 2nd class because of my family has shift from a village to Guntur for works. No school in this slum so I am going to works with my mother.I love to go school, please help us!
