Village Based Water Committee and Sustainability

Village Based Water Committee and Sustainability
Tayakome's H2O and sanitation committee is trained in building, system maintenance, and water quality and safety. A portable microbiology lab is used to test for harmful "unseen" bacteria in the water supply. Accurate E-coli results were given in 24 hours. The people have a bench mark to know "without doubt" if there water is safe. Full ownership of the project is turned over to the community after 3 years. (view small | med | large | orig)
