Summary
This project will screen 300 vulnerable children and orphans of HIV and will carryout diagnoses and treatment for reoccurring diseases to two communities of Bafut and Mambanda in Cameroon.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The project is aimed at alleviating poverty and advancing young people reproductive health in the regions of Bafut and Mambanda. It will screen 300 vulnerable children and orphans of HIV, providing Counselling, diagnoses and treatment of reoccurring diseases. According to Ngum the coordinator ‘through this project I will work to reduce inequality and abuse while empowering women to delay early marriage, plan pregnancies and access quality health care’
How will this project solve this problem?
We run reoccurring diseases programs, vaccination and distribute milk and bed nets, along HIV counselling and testing services. This scale up interventions on reducing maternal mortality.The Fon of Bafut said, ‘this project will improve lives.
Potential Long Term Impact
The project will alleviate poverty among 300 vulnerable and orphans of HIV. Also, it will increase access to quality healthcare and disease prevention and reproductive health information and services among youth, women and men.

‘In as much as the project will improve on the health and wellbeing of the indigenous people, it will also provide the tools to care for vulnerable children and orphans of HIV and save from abuse.’
