The first 24: III MEF responds to Japan disaster
A Japanese girl pulls out toys trucks for her brother March 25 after service members with United States Forces Japan (Forward) and Japanese North East Army delivered 500 hygiene sets, toys and clothes to the Okuma Elementary School for internally displaced personnel. The donations were provided by Samaritan’s Purse.

Operation Tomodachi

Members of the Los Angeles Search and Rescue Team, Task Force 2 are responding to the recent national emergency in Japan due to the earthquake while providing needed care, rescue techniques and tools.
