Dr. Kaosar Afsana - Program Coordinator, BRAC Health Program

Dr. Kaosar Afsana is responsible for rural and urban Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Programme in BRAC. She is an MD with MPH from Harvard and PhD from Edith Cowan University, Australia. Her PhD thesis addressed maternal health practices and health care system in Bangladesh. Dr. Afsana authored two books on childbirth practices and published research papers in journals, books and monographs.
