Anne's commitment to empowering the most vulnerable members of the global community and improving the lives of others is evident both at home and abroad through her passionate work as director of her family’s foundation. From active engagement in the battle to stop the genocide in Darfur to programs for youth in schools and universities Anne’s dedication to effect positive change is unwaivering.
Tamar Copeland - Executive Director, ASYV
Tamar joined Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village as Executive Director in October of 2009. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years and specializes in organizational growth. Prior to her arrival at ASYV, she re-built the development function of The New York Women's Foundation, effectively doubling the fundraising revenue in tandem with the operating budget.
Rachel Olstein - Director of Volunteer Services, ASYV
Rachel received her Masters Degree in Community Leadership and Non Profit Management at Hebrew University where she focused her studies on international development and volunteer organization. Rachel brings to Agahozo-Shalom a depth of knowledge in the fields of education and service learning, as well as extensive experience in international travel.
